Police investigating robbery at Woolloongabba

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man following the robbery of a convenience store at Woolloongabba on July 27.

The man entered the store at around 4.30pm wearing a black motorcycle helmet and demanded cigarettes.

When the female cashier refused, the man forced his way behind the counter and helped himself to the stock.

He was wearing a skin-tight green top, dark pants and described as having tanned skin and an accent.

The staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.

The man left the store on a red moped.
