Police have charged a following an alleged armed robbery in Bald Hills yesterday, April 20.
It will be alleged just before 7.20pm, a 29-year-old man attended a service station on Gympie Road and presented a knife before demanding money from the cash register.
The attendant allegedly retreated to a secure area before the man fled the business on foot.
It will be further alleged, the man then attended a service station on Strathpine Road just before 7.40pm, before presenting a knife and demanding the attendant open the registers.
The employee complied and was not physically harmed.
The man allegedly fled the scene on foot with a quantity of money before he was arrested by police on Arnica Crescent a short time later.
A 29-year-old Bald Hills man has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.
He is due to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court today, April 21.
