Detectives have charged a man after he allegedly set fire to a residence in Annerley overnight.
It will be alleged at 11pm the man deliberately set fire to items in his unit and the fire spread through the building.
No one was injured in the fire and the man was arrested by police at the scene.
The 19-year-old Annerley man has been charged with arson.
He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
