A 24-year-old woman has been charged in relation to the serious assault of a man in a remote community in the Victoria Daly district at the weekend.
It is alleged a 28-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was stabbed twice to the chest following a domestic disturbance on Saturday morning.
He was transported to the Royal Darwin Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The woman has been charged with one count each of Serious Harm, Aggravated Assault and Breach of a Domestic Violence Order, and has been bailed to appear in court on October 13.
