Police lay charges - Damage to ATMs

Regional Investigations Unit officers have charged a 40 year old Jandakot man over the alleged damage to a number of ATMs throughout the metropolitan area.
It will be alleged that in the month of April 2019, the man allegedly damaged eight ATMs in various suburbs including South Perth, Subiaco, Riverton, Atwell, Morley and Bull Creek.
It will be further alleged on 22 April 2019, the man forced entry into a shopping centre in Atwell and attempted to access an ATM causing extensive damage.
As a result of inquiries, the man was arrested in Canning Vale on 24 April 2019, and search warrants were then executed at two addresses in Jandakot and Canning Vale.
The man has been charged with 1 x Aggravated Burglary and Commit, 8 x Criminal Damage and 1 x No Authority to Drive.
He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 25 April 2019.
