Police lay charges over property offences in Alice Springs 27 February

Strike Force Viper have arrested a 28-year-old man for multiple offences across the Southern Region between December 2022 and January 2023.

Police will allege the man unlawfully entered four licensed premises in Alice Springs and one in Yulara, before assaulting his 28-year-old female partner in Docker River earlier this month.

On Friday, investigators from Strike Force Viper, acting on information from Docker River Police arrested the man in Alice Springs. He has since been charged with:

  • 1 x Aggravated assault
  • 5 x Damage to property
  • 5 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 5 x Stealing
  • 2 x Possess house breaking implements
  • 1 x Armed with an offensive weapon

The man will appear in the Alice Springs Local today.
