Police lay charges - STOLEN PUPPY at REDCLIFFE

Cannington detectives have charged a 20-year-old woman in relation to an incident that occurred on Tuesday, 21 March 2023 in Redcliffe, during which a 12-week-old puppy was stolen.

About 3.30pm, an unknown person travelling in a stolen vehicle forced entry to a home on Butson Place in Redcliffe via the rear sliding door.

The person rummaged through multiple rooms before stealing jewellery and a 12-week-old French Bulldog named Rogue.

Police received information from the community in relation to the whereabouts of Rogue and attended an address in St James.

About 6.10pm on Wednesday, 22 March 2023, Rogue was allegedly located in the rear yard of the premises and was safely returned to his owners.

A 20-year-old Wanneroo woman was arrested and charged with one count Receiving. She was bailed to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on 17 April 2023.

Inquiries are ongoing and further charges are likely to follow.
