Caulfield Divisional Response Unit (DRU) detectives located a cannabis cultivation set-up at a house in Clayton yesterday.
The DRU officers executed drug search warrants at addresses on McMillan Street in Clayton, and Ellen Street in Springvale, as part of an ongoing drug investigation about 5.40pm.
65 cannabis plants were located inside the homes.
A 50-year-old Springvale man was arrested.
He has since been charged with cultivate cannabis and theft and was bailed to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates' Court on 15 November.
