Police make arrest after Flemington collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man following an alleged hit-run in Flemington last week.

A 38-year-old Keilor Downs man was arrested overnight and interviewed by detectives.

The car suspected to have been involved in the hit-run was recovered in Melton and is being held for forensic examination.

The man was released pending further enquiries.

He was arrested as a result of an alleged road rage incident where a car crashed into a pole on Thursday 14 October on Mount Alexander Road, Flemington.

Two male victims remain in hospital in serious but stable conditions.
