Fremantle Detectives have arrested a man in relation to a serious incident that occurred in Atwell on Tuesday 14 June 2022.
It is alleged about 9am, offenders broke into a home on Halcyon Way disturbing the female occupant, a woman in her 30s. It is further alleged the woman was assaulted by one of the offenders, resulting in serious facial injuries.
As part of their ongoing investigation, about 4.45pm yesterday (16 June 2022), Fremantle Detectives took a 27-year-old man into custody in Nollamara. It is alleged during his arrest, the man assaulted a police officer.
The 27-year-old man from East Victoria Park is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court today (17/06), charged with:-
• Aggravated Home Burglary and Commit;
• Aggravated Robbery;
• Assault Public Officer; and
• No Authority to Drive.
