Police make arrest - Driving causing death at Western Australia

Northern Territory Police have arrested a man on an interstate warrant in connection to a fatal crash in 2019 in Western Australia.

The 36-year-old man was arrested this morning by detectives from the Major Crash Investigation Unit at his home in Rosebery.

He will be charged with:

  • Dangerous driving occasioning death
  • Driving whilst impaired by drugs

He is scheduled to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said, "Western Australian Major Crash detectives will now travel to Darwin to make an application to the NT Courts to extradite him back to Perth, where he will appear before the WA Courts to face the charges."
