Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to fire at a residence in North Perth last night, 27 August 2019.
It is alleged about 9.50pm, an occupant of a unit on Russell Avenue set fire to clothing. The fire spread causing an estimated $20,000 damage to the unit.
Perth Detectives charged the 27-year-old man from North Perth has been charged with Criminal Damage by Fire and he is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 28 August 2019.
