Northern Territory Police have charged a 23-year-old male after an alleged incident at a residence in Malak earlier this month.
The victim was asleep inside the property when it is alleged the male entered and attempted to sexually assault her.
The male was identified and arrested by members of the Sex Crimes Section yesterday in Tiwi.
The male was charged with
- Burglary x 1
- Attempted sexual assault x 1
He was remanded in custody and will appear at Darwin Local Court on Monday 29 January 2024.
