Police Make Arrests - Disturbance In Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are investigating after reports of a disturbance in Alice Springs earlier today.

Around 9.45am, police were notified of an altercation on Erumba Street, Brailting involving three females who are known to each other.

A 25-year-old female suffered serious injuries to her hand and lacerations to her head, and was conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for medical attention.

Two females aged 17 and 21, were arrested at the scene and are assisting police with their enquiries.

A crime scene has been declared and investigations are ongoing.
