Police Probe Concord West Business Firebombing

Burwood Police are appealing for public assistance after a business was targeted in a firebombing in Concord overnight.

About 11.10pm yesterday (Monday 15 June 2026), emergency services were called to a business on Concord Road, Concord West, following reports of a fire.

Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command attended and found several devices had been detonated causing damage to the outside of the business.

There were no reports of injuries.

Police established a crime scene seizing large amounts of shrapnel believed to have originated from the improvised explosive devices for forensic examination.

Burwood detectives have commenced an investigation into the incident and are urging anyone with information, CCTV vision or dashcam footage is urged to contact Burwood Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
