Police probe motorcycle crash in Casula

Police are investigating a crash in Sydney’s South West which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

About 10pm today, police were called to Kurrajong Road, Casula, after a motorcycle collided with the rear of an unoccupied truck which was parked on the side of the road.

The 61-year-old man riding the motorcycle sustained serious head and chest injuries.

He was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is currently in surgery. His condition is not known at this stage, NSW Police say.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
