Police can confirm that a 44 year old Scottsdale man lost his life after a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Tasman Highway, Tonganah at about 3:40pm on Sunday the 4th September 2022.
Members of Ambulance Tasmania and Scottsdale Police attended the scene shortly after the crash occurred, however, the man was already deceased.
The man was driving an Isuzu Dmax and towing a box trailer travelling in a westerly direction on Tasman Highway, Tonganah before losing control and crashing into a power pole.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
