Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Alderley

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash at Alderley overnight.

Initial investigations indicate a black Mazda 3 was travelling inbound on South Pine Road and turned right into Railway Street colliding with the motorcycle that had been travelling outbound on South Pine Road.

The male rider of the blue Honda CBR1100, died at the scene.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed or has dashcam vision of the crash or either vehicle prior to the crash to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
