Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Morayfield 16 December

Police are investigating this morning (December 16) following a fatal motorcycle crash at Morayfield.

Initial information indicates, prior to 5am, the motorcycle had been travelling North on Nolan Road and the 28-year-old rider failed to negotiate a left hand turn.

A passer-by found the 28-year-old Burpengary man deceased shortly after 5am.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances leading to his death.

Investigators would like to speak to any witnesses who were in the area in the hours prior to 5am or those with relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
