Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Arcadia

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Sydney's north-west today.

Emergency services responded to Arcadia Road, Arcadia, about 1pm (Sunday 26 February 2023), after reports of a crash.

Police have been told a Peugeot motorcycle was travelling south when it lost control causing the rider to come off before being struck by a Land Rover travelling in the opposite direction.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, and the rider – a 28-year-old man - was declared deceased. He is yet to be formally identified.

Officers from Kuring Gai Police Area Command established a crime scene which has been forensically examined.

An investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
