The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal traffic crash in Banana last night, 21 July.
At around 9.30pm, the rider of a motorcycle travelling along Grevells Road lost control and crashed into a tree.
The rider, a 17-year-old Callide boy, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash remain ongoing and police are appealing to anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
