Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Wamuran 19 August

Forensic Crash Unit are investigating after a woman died in a traffic crash in Wamuran today, 19 August.

Just after 2pm police were called to a 3-vehicle traffic crash on Daguilar Highway near Franks Lane.

Initial investigations indicate a white Mazda CX-90 and a white Hyundai Kona were parked on the side of the Daguilar Highway with the drivers standing outside the vehicles.

A third vehicle, a white Holden Rodeo, has collided with the vehicles and striking the driver of the Hyundai.

The 63-year-old Ningi woman died at the scene.

A 22-year-old Deception Bay man is assisting police with inquiries.

Investigations into the traffic crash are ongoing and police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam vision to come forward.
