Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Eagleby

A 31-year-old man has died following a traffic crash at Eagleby this afternoon, Saturday March 3.

Early investigations indicate that at approximately 5.20pm a dirt bike has crashed into a stationary vehicle at the intersection of River Hills Road and Bishop Street.

The impact then sent the dirt bike into a second stationary vehicle in a nearby driveway.

The rider, a 31-year-old Eagleby man, was treated by paramedics. However, he died at the scene.

The occupants of the two vehicles were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
