Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Drinan 14 January

A 73-year-old man has died following a two vehicle crash in Drinan yesterday afternoon (December 13).

At approximately 5.45pm, a Kia Sportage was travelling south along Walaville Goondoon Road through Wallaville when it collided with an oncoming Toyota Prado.

The driver and sole occupant of the Kia, a 73-year-old Drinan man, died at the scene.

The driver and two passengers of the Prado; a 20-year-old Kalkie man, a 51-year-old Kalkie woman and a 20-year-old Woongarra man, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
