Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Mount Tyson

Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash which occurred in Mount Tyson this afternoon.

Around 3.10pm two cars collided at the intersection of Jondaryan Mount Tyson Road and Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road.

A 19-year-old Pittsworth man, and single occupant of the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 43-year-old man and two passengers, a 41-year-old woman and 2-year-old girl were taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital with minor injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
