Police responding to serious traffic crash at Kogan

Police are investigating a serious traffic crash that resulted in three people injured at Kogan in the early hours of this morning.

Around 2.20am police were called to Tara Kogan Road after a Holden Colorado was allegedly struck from behind by a Nissan X-Trail. The collision caused the Holden Colorado to roll onto its side.

Three people in the Holden Colorado were injured in the crash.

A 22-year-old man from Goranba was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

A 20-year-old woman from Tara was also airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is in a stable condition.

A 2-year-old boy from Tara was transported to Tara Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

The occupants of the Nissan X-Trail were not injured in the crash.

Police have arrested a 36-year-old man who is assisting police with their investigations into the crash.
