Police responding to serious traffic crash at Bundaberg 15 June

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious traffic crash that occurred in Bundaberg this afternoon, June 15.

Initial investigations indicate shortly after 3pm, a motorbike and car collided at the intersection of George Street.

The motorcycle rider, a 20-year-old Bundaberg West man, sustained critical injuries and was transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 21-year-old Bundaberg West woman, was not physically injured and is assisting police with inquiries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
