Police responding to serious traffic crash at Holmview 21 October

Police are investigating after a car and cyclist crashed at Holmview this evening, October 20.

Initial investigations indicate a Mitsubishi Pajero and the cyclist were travelling west along Logan River Road around 9.30pm before they both turned onto the slip lane to exit onto Teys Road, where the crash occurred.

A 20-year-old male cyclist was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with critical injuries.

The female driver in her 40s was uninjured in the crash.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has dashcam that could assist investigations, to contact police.
