Police responding to serious traffic crash at Redland Bay

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are appealing for witnesses after a single vehicle motorcycle crash at Redland Bay early tonight.

Around 6pm a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was heading east on School of Arts Road when the rider has lost control near Collins Street. The rider and passenger were thrown from the bike.

The female passenger was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The male rider was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the motorcycle prior, to contact police.
