Police search for Aireys Inlet man Gregory Lee continues

Police are continuing to search for missing Aireys Inlet man, Gregory Lee.

Gregory left his Distillery Creek Road home on Thursday 16 July around 11.45am to go shopping and he has not been seen since.

Police and Gregory's family hold concerns for his welfare as the 59-year-old suffers from a medical condition requiring medication.

Gregory is 200cm tall with an athletic build. He was last seen wearing a black beanie, a short Driza-Bone jacket, blue trousers, a black boot on his left foot and a 'moon boot' on his right.

Police are conducting a major search operation with the Air Wing, SES volunteers and other support agencies involved.

Police ask the public to keep a lookout for Gregory in their travels, however do not require further assistance in the search party as the systematic operation including the use of forward looking infrared devices may be hampered by members of the public being out on foot in the area.

Anyone who has seen Gregory or has information on his current whereabouts is urged to call Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
