Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Langwarrin man Alleyne.
The 92-year-old was last seen leaving his Fern Mews address to go dancing in Glen Waverley about 5.15pm last night.
He may be travelling in a white Toyota Corolla with registration 1LX-7DP.
Alleyne did make contact with family members about 11.50pm last night to tell them that he was lost and was trying to get directions home.
His phone is no longer working.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions.
An image of Alleyne has been released in the hope someone can provide information about his whereabouts to Carrum Downs Police Station on 8770 4116.
