Police are currently searching for a man who was last seen swimming in waters in Warrandyte North this morning.
Emergency services were called to Osbourne Road about 7.20am after reports the man, who entered the Yarra River with three friends, had been swept along by fast-moving rapids.
His three friends raised the alarm when they noticed the man, in his 20s, had separated from the group.
Local Police along with Air Wing, Search and Rescue Squad and State Emergency Service are currently searching the surrounding area.
