Police are currently conducting a search for a missing man in and around the Yarra River at Warrandyte.
Officers have been told the 39-year-old man was with friends at Taroona Reserve yesterday when he walked down a path toward the river by himself about 3pm.
His friends noticed he was missing and tried to locate him before contacting police to report him missing.
Air Wing as well as Search and Rescue divers searched the water and surrounding area yesterday and will continue to do so today.
