Police search for missing Meringur woman Amanda

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Meringur woman Amanda.

The 44-year-old was last seen at her family's rural property on McGaffin Road, Meringur, about 10.30am on Sunday 12 September.

Police and family have concerns for Amanda's welfare as she has a medical condition and has gone missing from an isolated area.

It is believed she is travelling on foot and is known to walk long distances.

Amanda is about 165cm tall, and is believed to be wearing a khaki/brown jacket and similar pants.

She is also likely to be in possession of a sleeping bag.

An image of Amanda has been released in the hope someone may recognise her and provide information on her whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Amanda or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Mildura Police Station on 5018 5300.
