Police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate at 13-year-old boy reported missing from Coolum Beach since yesterday.
The boy (pictured) was last seen leaving a Coolum educational facility around 3pm and rode his mountain bike to a shopping centre off Birtwell Street.
His bike has been located parked at the centre however the boy has not been seen or heard from since.
Police and family hold concern for his welfare as his disappearance is highly out of character.
The boy is described as Asian, around 160cm tall with a proportionate build.
He was last seen wearing a local high school uniform consisting of a dark blue polo shirt with yellow sleeves, dark blue shorts. He also had on black shoes and white socks.
Anyone who may have seen the boy or know his whereabout is urged to immediately contact police.
