Police seek help to find missing man at Southport 3 June

Police are asking for public assistance to locate a 66-year-old man missing from Southport since yesterday evening.

He's believed to have left a Hospital Boulevard address just after 6pm on foot and has not been heard from since.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare as he has a medical condition that may cause disorientation and lack of awareness for his safety, especially around roads.

Motorists are urged to drive with caution in and around the area.

The man is Caucasian, 172cm tall with a slim build and grey hair.

He may be wearing a hospital gown.

Residents nearby are asked to check under their houses, in sheds and carports for signs of him.

Anyone with information on the man's whereabouts is urged to contact police; particularly motorists travelling nearby, who may have seen him or given him a lift.
