Police seek help to find missing man at Berrinba

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate 22-year-old Movete Loseli missing from Berrinba since yesterday morning (Wednesday August 3).

Movete was last seen leaving a Kerry Street residence on foot around 8am and he has not been heard from since.

Concerns are held for his welfare as he is unfamiliar with the area and may have communication difficulties.

Movete is described as being 180cm tall, of solid build with short black curly hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and green shorts.

Multiple police and SES volunteers are currently searching wetlands off Wayne Goss Drive and Demeio Park off Dameio Road for signs of Movete and are asking for anyone who knows his whereabouts to make contact immediately.
