WA Police are continue to seek information in relation to missing person Matthew EVES for whom we hold serious concerns for his welfare.
Matthew left Perth on 1 January 2022, he was intending to return to Kununurra where he usually lives and works.
We have confirmed that Matthew was last seen travelling through Burringurrah Community on the evening of 2 January 2022.
It is believed he was still intending to travel onwards from there towards Kununurra.
Extensive ground and air searches have been conducted in the area he was last sighted, including inquires with service stations and roadhouses along the most likely routes.
Police have spoken to family and friends of Matthew and are all are extremely concerned as no-one has heard from him which is out of character.
Matthew EVES is described as 44 years old, solid build, 171 cm in height and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black shorts.
Matthew is driving a white Mitsubishi utility registration WL5977. The vehicle has "plumber" style racks, a light bar spotlight on the grill and two smaller rear facing spotlights on the back of the cab – see below image.
