Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Christopher Douglas.
The 15-year-old was last seen at his Strathdale address about 1.45pm yesterday.
Police and family members hold concerns for Christopher's welfare due to his age and the fact his disappearance is out of character.
An image of Christopher has been released in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.
Christopher is Caucasian in appearance and about 183cm tall with blond hair, blue eyes and a thin build.
He was last seen wearing a black Raider cap and white clip-on bike shoes, and was carrying a black backpack.
Police are investigating whether Christopher may have travelled towards Gisborne.
He may also have his Giant road bike with him.
Anyone who sees Christopher or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300.
