Police seek help to find missing woman at Biloela

Police are seeking public assistance to locate a missing 42-year-old woman from Biloela.

Amanda Petty was last seen at an address at Kariboe Street on Wednesday February 15 and was due to return home from camping in the Mount Morgan area on Sunday February 19.

Initial investigations indicate Amanda may have been in the Nimbin area in New South Wales on the afternoon of February 18.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character and she has not contacted family since February 18.

She is described as approximately 156cm tall, Caucasian in appearance with a proportionate build and dark brown hair and eyes.

Police believe Amanda is travelling with a man known to her in a black 2003 Kia Rio sedan with Queensland registration 510XGA.

Amanda, or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
