Police Seek Information After Stabbing - North Gosford

Police are appealing for information to find two people after a man was stabbed on the Central Coast earlier today.

About 6.30am (Tuesday 13 May 2025), emergency services were called to Gertrude Street, North Gosford, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District attended and found a 38-year-old man with stab wounds to his upper body.

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, police have released the description of a man and woman who might be able to assist police.

The man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged in his mid-20s, about 180cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged about 20, and of thin build.
