Police seek information on Serious Harm at Tennant Creek

Northern Territory Police are calling for information relating to a serious assault that occurred on Paterson Street in Tennant Creek just before 4am this morning.

The first victim, a 26-year-old male, suffered serious stab wounds with the injuries considered life-threatening. He was medivaced to Alice Springs in a stable condition.

The second victim, a 30-year-old female, received minor injuries and is being treated in the Tennant Creek hospital.

The matter does not appear to be domestic violence related at this time.

Tennant Creek Criminal Investigation Branch Investigators are currently investigating the matter.
