Police seek information over home invasion - Rockley Mount

An investigation is underway following a home invasion in the state's Central Tablelands on the weekend.

Just after 7am on Saturday (14 November 2020), a man attended a property on Rockley Road, Rockley Mount, and asked the 82-year-old resident to use his phone.

Police have been told that while the man was using his landline, a second man armed – with a knife and with his face covered – appeared.

The men threatened the resident demanding drugs and firearms; they ransacked the home before leaving in a small red sedan towards Bathurst.

The man was shaken but unhurt during the incident.

Officers attached the Chifley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
