Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's southwest.
Melek Kasim, aged 15, was last seen in Merrylands around 2pm on Monday 8 June 2026.
When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and her family have concerns for her welfare given her age.
Malek is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with brown eyes and black hair.
She was last seen wearing a black jumper, and long beige pants.
Malek is known to frequent the Merrylands, Burwood, and Parramatta areas.
