Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the state's Newcastle region.
Maggie Omeara, aged 12, was last seen on Penman Street, New Lambton, about 10am today (Tuesday 25 November 2025).
Officers attached to Newcaslte City Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold serious concerns for Maggie's welfare due to her age.
Maggie is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 140cm tall, of medium build, long blonde hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing aqua blue coloured school uniform.
Maggie is believed to frequent the Kotara and New Lambton areas.
