Police seek witnesses - Robbery in Darwin 27 September

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a man was robbed in Darwin City early this morning.

Around 2:45am, police received reports that a 73-year-old male had been robbed by an unknown group of males and females in a carpark on Smith Street.

The group allegedly stole a small quantity of cash and his walker, which was later recovered by officers a short distance away.

Strike Force Trident are investigating.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said "Detectives are currently reviewing CCTV to identify possible offenders.

"This was a cowardly attack on a vulnerable member of the community."
