Police seek witnesses to Hampton Park serious collision

Major Collison Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a collision in Hampton Park yesterday that has left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Two cars collided head-on while travelling along Laura Drive about 4.30pm.

The passenger in one vehicle, a 34-year-old Seaford man, was taken to hospital with critical head injuries.

The uninjured driver, a 38-year-old Hampton Park man, was arrested and is assisting investigators with their enquiries.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 22-year-old Hampton Park man, was not injured.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine the cause.
