Prahran Highway Patrol members are appealing for witnesses after a man was struck by a car in St Kilda last night.
The 24-year-old Middle Park man was crossing The Esplanade when he was hit by a grey Subaru sedan about 11.15pm.
He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Subaru was arrested at the scene and is currently assisting investigators with their enquiries.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage.
