Police seize drugs, weapons and cash from Paterson Lakes home

Kingston Frontline Tactical Unit investigators have charged a man with a range of offences following the discovery of drugs, weapons and a large amount of cash at a Paterson Lakes house overnight.

The 25-year-old Paterson Lakes man was spoken to by police, while parked on The Broadway in Bonbeach, on Friday night at 9.30pm.

A search of the man's car resulted in police allegedly locating an amount of cannabis which led to a further search at the man's Solway Court home.

At the house investigators allegedly located a quantity of cannabis and amphetamine, an imitation handgun, ammunition, throwing knives and a large amount of cash.

The man was charged with traffick and possess a drug of dependence, firearm offences and possess proceeds of crime.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Frankston magistrates' Court on Monday 24 June
