A 43-year-old police staff member from WA Police Information Technology portfolio has been charged with stealing and fraud offences.
Police Internal Affairs Unit will allege the offences occurred between 2016 and 2022 and were committed prior to his employment with WA Police. He was charged with:
• 13 counts of Stealing as a Servant; and
• 12 counts of Fraud.
The police staff member, who is suspended from duty, will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, Friday 9 December 2022.
